12 states sue Bush Administration for toxins data

A further sign that the American people no longer see the Bush administration as a competent ruling entity, 12 states are suing the government over the Environmental Protection Agency

rules that allow companies to limit the information they

disclose to the public about toxic chemicals.

According to Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, the EPA’s action destroys a 20-year program that required

companies to report the amount of lead, mercury and other toxins they


“Polluters can release 10 times more toxins like lead and mercury without telling anyone,” he said.

Another blatant gift to the corporations, the lack of compassion

towards human beings shown by the Bush Administration is completely

disgusting. Given their track record however, it is not shocking.
