It’s difficult not to be a sucker for a good speech, but this one really is exceptional. Barack Obama has oratory skills not seen for some decades in U.S politics, and he uses them in a fiery speech at the Jefferson Jackson dinner in Des Moines, Iowa. It’s an inspiring performance, and very timely to hear him speak so eloquently about solving some of America’s pressing problems. If this does not catapult him up in the polls, it’s not clear what will. It’s quite a long video, but well worth watching if you have the time:
